About us--Motor City      Shouldering the task of producing all kinds of motorcycles for Jincheng, Jincheng Motorcycle Complex (JMC) is a cross-century project undertaken by Jincheng Corporation in order to fulfill their magnificent goal of continuous development in the new century.      There is a workshop area of 50,000 m2, comprising of all production lines such as assembling, pressing, welding, injection moulding and painting etc. There are seven general assembly lines and the annual productivity reaches to 1 million motorcycles.     The whole system embodies the following features of modern mass production: the general assembling chains synchronize with other lines to get all parts of the whole motorcycle into the lines, with the engine carried to its service position by the computer-controlled self-moving tackle while the oil tank and seat cushion carried from the parts and components area to their service positions by hoist.     The whole production system synchronize in harmony and coordinate unanimously to have the general assembling line, test-drive bench, packing line and delivering place without any letup. This has shown the characteristics of modern mass production: fast, supermatic and highly efficient. All the equipment are within the most advanced domestically, including the pneumatic lettering machine, self-moving tackle, the auto-inspecting platform, bar coding system (which is the most advanced in the industry at home), die stamping line, welding line, closed type two point pressing machine, 3-D numerical-controlled pipe bending machine, automatic welding robot and the automatic painting line.     The Entire-Car Workshop makes full use of modern means of management among which the application of computer is a powerful measure of assuring the products quality. All production lines, conveying lines are controlled by micro-computer or PC.      All computers in different departments are interconnected to be a LAN as well as linked with purchased components' warehouse, finished products' warehouse and the headquarters (HQ) of Jincheng Coporation. Production dispatching and commanding can be made known and coordinated by computers while information about the products' quality can be logged in a computer archives.     In Sept. 1997, the computerized bar managing system was officially put into use in the Entire-car Workshop, since then each motorcycle made by Jincheng gets a follow-up service network. This has provided effective technical means for the sales and after-sales service in Jincheng.
