Winches used in the road recovery are usually classified in three-ton,
five-ton, eight-ton and ten-ton, etc. One vehicle is usually
equipped with one winch, or two as may be required by users.
The winch is used to lift and carry away with its boom hoisting
the overturned, broken-down or severely wrecked vehicles to
clear the road. One to ten-ton wreckers are recommended for
medium-sized cities, and 10 to 30 ton wreckers for high-grade
highways, flyovers, etc.

In 1987, the winches, lifting and wheeling devices made by Jincheng
Company passed the state verification and have been supplied
to main road recovery factory in China because of their advanced
