ZF¡¡FP3 Series Power Steering Vane Pumps
7681(for power steering gear)
Features:
FP3 series vane pumps are a high-performance power source for vehicles' power steering system. They have outstanding speed and discharge performance that are applicable to the vehicles power steering system that requires constant (specific) pump
discharge for speed variation and overload protection. This series of products are characterized by stable output discharge, wide speed range, little pressure pulsation, compact, free-of-external-leakage and low noise.
The pumps are provided with flow control valve and safety valve. The output discharge may be specifically designed depending on the type of engines and steering system. The pressure may be regulated by safety valve to prevent the system from overload against pump failure and accidents.
Scope of application:
The products are applicable to cars, light passenger cars, tool wagons as well as carrier vehicles and engineering machineries.
Technical parameters:
Discharge capacity£º
Theoretical discharge capacity is 8.5 ml/rev.
vane pump, model 7682, having 11ml/rev. theoretical discharge
capacity, is also available except its installation dimensions
in length are slightly different.
Discharge:
Be controlled within 4~8.5l/min.
Working pressure: max.130bar.The time of operation under max. pressure is for short-time only and should not exceed 5 s for fear that the pump is overheated and broken down as result of excessive long time internal recycling of oil inside the pump when the steering gear does not need any oil since the pump is equipped with a pressure relief valve.
Oil intake pipeline:
Its length shall be as short as possible in order to optimize the line (use as many as possible straight pipes to minimize oil resistance). At 50¡æ, the absolute pressure in the oil intake pipes shall be not lower than 0.85 bar and the viscosity not less than 26mm2/S (cSt).The measurement hereof shall be carried out at the pump oil inlet port when the pump speed is at range of 1500 rpm (minimum) and 2500rpm.
Pump's speed range:
As of an idling engine, its min. speed is 700rpm and max. speed is 7000rpm. (If approved by the technical innovation department, the max. speed may be taken).
Weight of pump:
The weight of pumps having light alloy shells, is at range of 1.4kg and 1.8kg depending on the pump model.
Oil:
Should it be the first time to replenish oil, it is recommended to use free bubble oils for automatic-gear vehicles, whose viscosity is about 26mm2/s (at 50¡æ) and freezing point lower than -35¡æ.
Reference of identified lubricants is available upon request.
Discharge and input power£º
Discharge characteristic curves may be varying according to the specially controlled range.
